Additional Information

This situation occurs when feature service extents are set to to a value outside of what is displayed in the AutoCAD window. The service extent of the feature service must be changed prior to synchronization to a value such as "drawing extents" (or another extent value that places the features within service extents). This can be done before adding the feature service to the map or by right-clicking the feature service in the "GIS Contents" panel and changing the extent in the "set bounding box from" selector.

Workaround

To view the missing lines, the best option is to also include the map service which reliably shows the features after synchronization. Using the Identify tool, one can also view attributes for created features.
