ArcGIS for AutoCAD 300 is unable to handle secured services using the ArcGIS Server built-in security. Either the error, “Unable to authenticate” or “No supported services found on hostname” is returned the second time ArcGIS for AutoCAD is launched by clicking the GIS Server connection to ArcGIS Server secured services.

Additional Information

The issue is resolved with the latest version of ArcGIS for AutoCAD.

Workaround

• Do not close ArcGIS for AutoCAD.• Read the GIS Server every time ArcGIS for AutoCAD is launched.• Disable the security for ArcGIS Server services.
