Workaround

  1. Open ArcGIS Pro and open project with original layer or data with label classes.
  2. Edit or remove label classes as desired.
  3. Overwrite web layer >sharing > overwrite web layer > manage layer in ArcGIS Online.
  4. Open layer in Map Viewer > view label class changes.
  5. Open web map in ArcGIS Field Maps and view label class changes.
