AppStudio for ArcGIS QuickReport uses FeatureService Layer JSON to extract information about fields. It does not use hosted feature layer data items to get field info as expected.

QuickReport uses FeatureService Layer JSON to extract information about fields. It doesn't use hosted feature layer data items to get field info. Suggested workflow is to set the field visibilities before sharing it as a arcgisonline service from ArcMap.
