Additional Information
The text is still there, just on a path that is too short to display the full word(s) in some cases. This occurs sometimes when labels are on a curved path, like how the street layer is styled. In Adobe Illustrator, the label's path is too short to fully show the entire label. To display the full string, use the Direct Selection tool (white arrow) and click and drag the anchor point at the end of the path to elongate the path. This allows enough room for the label to be displayed.
Workaround
Use the Direct Selection tool (white arrow) and click and drag the anchor point at the end of the path to elongate the path. This allows enough room for the label to be displayed.
