Additional Information

ArcGIS Pro versions prior to 3.2 contained a drawing defect with some fonts where ascenders were not properly represented. This issue is resolved in ArcGIS Pro 3.2. The defect caused lines of text to be too close together and callouts to fit the top of the text too closely as well. Resolving this defect results in a change of bounds because the bounds were incorrect. In the case reported here, the paragraph text is defined in a fashion where the defined area tightly fits the text, and the bounds change caused the text to overflow the area. Changing draw is something that is generally avoided in the product, but it was done in this case given the incorrect nature of the existing behavior. There is no plan to restore the previous defective drawing. On top of the above change, the font in this particular example is malformed. The glyphs extend beyond the font baseline and contain numerous geometry errors. A shift of this nature does not occur with a properly crafted font.
