Additional Information
This is an expected operating system difference between iOS and Android. The integrated GPS on iOS captures elevations in MSL, whereas Android captures using HAE (Height Above Ellipsoid). Therefore, depending on the location, the geoid undulation or separation value could be positive or negative, which could lead to the HAE value on Android being higher than the MSL value on iOS.
Workaround
Use an external GPS connected to the Android phone.
