Additional Information

The metadata geoprocessing tools are not designed to operate in the ArcGIS Enterprise environment. The tools are not supported for use in the ArcGIS Enterprise environment. Since the metadata geoprocessing tools are written using C#, the Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations ( XSLT)s that the tools run must be suitable for the Microsoft .NET XML parser. The ArcGIS Enterprise environment on Windows does not leverage the same XML parser, and cannot run XSLTs that are designed to operate in .NET. The software is working as designed.
