Create a new DBF file based on the join > Right clicked the Supermarkten worksheet > Open (table) > Options Button > Export > Save as a DBF and add the DBF to ArcMap.Right clicked the newly created DBF table based off of the join > Display XY Data > Field X: X > Field Y: Y > Add the coordinate system (Rijksdriehoekstelsel) > OK.Once the point event theme is created, you should now be able to move forward with the export of this point event theme (Right Click > Data > Export Data > Save as a Shapefile) as a point shapefile without any errors or crashes.Steps to Reproduce
