Additional Information

We explicitly disabled publishing packages that have incorrect compressed content post Portal for ArcGIS 10.5 release. That’s the reason it worked in 10.5. We wanted to prevent it as compressed content may not be handled by all clients. The scene layer package compression scheme has to be “store” and not standard “deflate”. STORE is the preferred compression scheme for an SLPK if the package is intended for direct consumption in client applications. We are not going to fix this in Portal/Online. Instead, we already worked with Bentley to create their scene layer packages compliant with our i3s specifications and the latest version of their software - ContextCapture is writing out correct scene layer packages. We suggest you upgrade your Smart 3D software to the latest version.
