An error occurs when accessing or changing ArcGIS Server security settings when the Web server is installed and running on a Windows 2008 and the GIS Server (SOM/SOC) is running on a separate Windows machine (XP, 2003, or 2008).

Additional Information

As of version 10.1, the Server Manager application built on the .NET Web ADF technology is no longer being developed or having issues fixed.

Workaround

1. Install GIS Server on the same machine as the web server or 2. Install the web server onto a different OS (Windows 2003 or XP)
