Files of type .lnk are not supported for browsing in ArcGIS Pro. There is no guarantee that the file accessed by a .lnk file is an ArcGIS Pro project. We would not be able to provide different capabilities for .lnk files that provide access to all the different file formats that can be produced by ArcGIS Pro.
