An ArcGIS Online hosted feature service with multiple relationship classes on the same layer, which uses copies of the layer with definition queries applied when publishing, is unable to display the related records for any layers beneath the topmost layer.

Workaround

Create separate layers for each related table before publishing to remove applying definition queries from the workflow.
