The ArcGIS API for Python is introducing a new way to work with sharing items. The issue is resolved and works as defined below in the code: gis: GIS = GIS(profile=profile) item: Item = gis.content.get("Workaround
Use the user interface (UI) of ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise to set the sharing settings of the item owned by another user to private.
