Additional Information

The map has map scales set that overlap one another, with class 1 starting at 72,631 and class 2 going down to 69,473, which is within the class 1 visible range. With the sample map provided, the same behavior is seen in previously released versions of the map viewer and ArcGIS API for JavaScript.

Workaround

  • Set a custom zoom level. For example, for a City zoom level label visibility change, 1:80,000 needs to be changed to 1:109,000 (World-109,000 and 100,000-Room).
  • Duplicate the layer to ensure there is only one label class for each feature layer. Setting the same visibility scales will not produce the behaviour.
