After restarting a database instance, map services referenced from the database intermittently fail to execute the first query made after the restart (subsequent queries work successfully without a need to restart the service).

Additional Information
Once a database instance is restarted, all previous open connections get closed, and the connection being used by a map service instance becomes stale. To renew the connection, the map service restarts itself after the first request comes in or the health check kicks in.Workaround
After restarting the database instance, rerun a query on a map service a second time if the query fails initially after the database instance restart.
