After publishing a web layer from ArcGIS Pro 3.1 to ArcGIS Online, the web layer only displays black and white symbology in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic.

The issue is reproducible only in ArcGIS Pro 3.1. The issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and prior.Workaround
There is a new option in ArcGIS Pro 3.1 to use CIM symbols if the web layer is to be used in clients that support drawing it. Check the Use symbol types compatible with all clients check box to use web symbols instead of CIM symbols.
