After opening a public ArcGIS StoryMaps story when logged in to an ArcGIS Online organization and logging out, the story stops working and displays the error message, "Hmm... there seems to be an issue. There was a problem accessing this story or this page. Please try again or contact your ArcGIS administrator."

This issue is a duplicate of BUG-000143623. This issue is being worked on.Workaround
Customers usually create ArcGIS StoryMaps stories to be accessed by the general public, hence the majority of the users are not logged in to an ArcGIS Online organizational account when accessing the stories.
There are three possible options to bypass the issue:
- Access the link without being logged in to an ArcGIS Online organization.
- Access the link in an incognito window.
- Clear the browser's cache and cookies.
