After installing Service Pack 1 for ArcGIS Server .NET 9.3, a Search Attribute Task configured on multiple fields from two or more layers (or map services) does not work and throws the following error: “Unable to Connect to server”.

Additional Information

NIM040543 Search Attributes task fails if attributes or fields from more than one layer are used as Search Fields.

Workaround

Using ArcGIS Server Internet connections instead of local connections.
