Bug

After creating a group which allows members of an enterprise group to join in Portal for ArcGIS, and configuring it to automatically create an account upon login, the user becomes a member of the group but is not visible.

The issue is no longer reproducible.

Workaround

  1. Open another browser tab. Do not close the Portal for ArcGIS home page.
  2. Navigate to Portal Administrator Directory.
  3. Navigate to Security > Groups > Refresh Membership.
  4. Enter the desired group name for a membership refresh. Click Refresh Membership.
  5. When the refresh is completed, return to Portal for ArcGIS home page and refresh the browser tab.
  6. The newly created group is now visible. When clicking the group, the correct user has been added to the group.
