After adding a new hosted table in Map Viewer, the extent of the web map changes to an unexpected location.

Workaround

Navigate to the Layer pane, select a layer, click on the 3 dots, and then select 'Zoom to'. The web map extent pans or zooms back to the layers.

Alternatively, manually zoom out and pan back to the expected location of the layers.
