Additional Information

Data appears on wrong location because it has incorrect False Easting and False Northing values in projected coordinate system (PCS) definition. User should use the Define Projection tool to correct the PCS/SR information and assign 103768, NAD 1983 HARN Adj MN Ramsey (US Feet) PCS to the data.

Workaround

  • Use the Define Projection to set the coordinate system to NAD 1983 HARN Adj MN Ramsey (Meters). The data appears in upper peninsula of Michigan.
  • Use the Define Projection tool to change the coordinate system back to NAD 1983 HARN Adj MN Ramsey (US Feet) and the data appear in the correct location (Ramsey County).
