Adding more than 5 fields using the Data Definition Language (DDL) field description with the ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET causes the geometry to disappear.

The SDK team will not fix this issue.Workaround
Remove the dataset from the map before making the Data Definition Language (DDL) change, then add it back once the DDL operation is finished. Do not perform DDL operations on a dataset while it is open in the map.
