Additional Information
Apps running on an ArcGIS Enterprise portal behind a firewall are not available to be embedded in the ArcGIS Online instance of ArcGIS StoryMaps because they are not available on the open web.Workaround
Any web app URL from a public-facing portal (external environment) is not returning any error while being embedded in the ArcGIS StoryMaps collection.
