Adding attachments to hosted feature services from ArcGIS Pro causes the attachments to display as thumbnails in ArcGIS Online.

This issue is no longer reproducible in current versions of ArcGIS Pro.

Workaround

There are a couple of workarounds to choose from:

  • Attach all images to the existing feature services from ArcGIS Online.
  • Make use of an ArcGIS Pro version aside from 3.1.x. The issue does not occur in ArcGIS Pro 3.0.x or 3.2.x, for example.
