Bug
Adding an offline area from ArcGIS Field Maps 25.2.7 displays the error message, “Local basemap incompatible” when a hosted tile service is present in the web map and the basemap has been sideloaded on the device, even when both have the same spatial reference (3857).

Workaround
Remove the hosted tile layer from the webmap.
