Adding a Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) layer to a map and using the map with two View objects simultaneously causes the web app built with ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.25 to crash.

Workaround

Create a separate WMTS layer and map instance for each view. Refer to https://codepen.io/annefitz/pen/oNyJGYp?editors=1000 for an example.
