Adding a Web Map Service (WMS) to a web map used in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder removes any filters set in the Group Filter widget.

Additional Information
The issue as originally described cannot be reproduced anymore. As of today, the Web Map Service (WMS) layers are listed as filter options but they do not work. With the upcoming ArcGIS Online updates, a fix is added to hide the Web Map Service (WMS) services as a filter option in the Group Filter widget since WMS are not supported for filtering.Workaround
Add the Web Map Service (WMS) as a Web Feature Service (WFS).
- In the web map, navigate to Add data > From the web > Select WFS OGC web service.
- Paste the WMS URL.
- Change 'service=WMS' to 'service=WFS' in the URL.
This brings the group filters back.
