Adding a member from Auth0 to ArcGIS Online using the 'Add members using their organization-specific IDs without sending invitations' option does not work with the Auth0 client ID special character ("auth0|123456...").

Workaround

Add members using another invitation method or choose the Automatically option when configuring the OpenID Connect logins.
