Adding a layer from a URL in Map Viewer fails if the URL does not include FeatureServer or MapServer with the expected uppercase and lowercase letters.

The service type uses a mixed-case format, which is defined by the service type being used. Refer to this link https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/get-started-with-the-services-directory.htm for more information.Workaround
Use the standard character case of MapServer or FeatureServer in the URL.
