Adding a hosted feature layer from ArcGIS Online containing a relationship class based between a Global ID and a globally unique identifier (GUID) does not maintain the relationship when imported from ArcGIS Online to ArcMap through the My Hosted Features section in the Catalog pane.

Workaround

Create the relationship class not using globally unique identifier (GUID).
