Adding a database connection in the Favorites tab in the Catalog pane on ArcGIS Pro results in duplicate connection files in the Favorites folder in Window's File Explorer.

Workaround

Steps:

  1. Add the database connection in the Catalog pane in the Project tab.
  2. Right-click the database and choose Add to Favorites.
  3. Click Yes.
