Adding a CSV file containing both hyphen and brackets in the attribute field using the 'Add Layer from File' option causes the string data type to change into a Date data type.

The issue is not reproducible in the latest ArcGIS Online release.Workaround
- Remove either the hyphen or brackets from the wording of the field attributes to maintain the string data type for the field.
- Change the wording of the field attribute to not include any hyphens or brackets.
