To avoid seeing missing features in ArcGIS StoryMaps, use the 'Export map layers in a new hosted feature service' option in the Share Map dialog box when sharing the map from the ArcGIS Business Analyst web app. Using this option saves the layer as a feature service instead of a feature collection. Feature services have many advantages over feature collections and it is recommended to work with layers that are shared in a web map as feature services to help avoid running into limitations associated with feature collections.Steps to Reproduce
