A warning message, “24082: Layer's symbol will be downgraded” is returned when attempting to publish a web layer (polyline feature with shape marker symbology) to ArcGIS Online.

The warning message is returned as expected. The layer uses a symbol that is not supported when publishing web feature layers. The symbol will be downgraded to a simple symbol that is supported.
