Additional Information
When creating a new feature on the subtype, right-click the sublayer and select Create Feature for expected results. Additionally, empty date fields are not supported in ArcGIS for AutoCAD. Date fields are required to have a date and this is a known limitation.Workaround
Right-click a sublayer and select Create Feature to create a feature on the subtype. Using the icon creates a feature on the parent layer and not the subtype.
