A severe error is returned in ArcGIS Server logs, "Error executing tool. SyncFeatureServiceReplica Job ID: ... ErrorMsg@SyncGPService: {"code":400,"description":"Unable to complete operation."} Failed to execute (Sync Feature Service Replica)." when syncing attachment back to the Collector Classic for ArcGIS (Android) app on a feature class with custom class extension.

Collector Classic for ArcGIS (Android, iOS) has been retired and is no longer being updated. Esri recommends the ArcGIS Field Maps app as an alternative to Collector Classic as it combines the functionality of Classic Collector, Explorer, and Tracker.
