A server connection from ArcGIS GeoEvent Server fails when it is done to ArcGIS Server configured with web-tier authentication and Integrated Window Authentication (IWA) where the connection is made to the web adaptor URL.

Workaround

Perform any of the following workarounds to resolve the issue:

  • Input the server URL as a URL that bypasses the web server, allowing windows authentication takes place.
  • Make a connection to a federated server using Integrated Window Authentication (IWA) through Portal for ArcGIS.
