A required 'hidden' type question, hidden with a relevant statement is still required in the ArcGIS Survey123 field app when the relevant statement is not met.

Additional Information
Making any question that a user cannot directly interact with required is not advised and is an invalid form design. The question visibility section of the Form expressions documentation is to be updated to reflect this.Workaround
Change the question type from 'hidden' (for example use text instead) and hide the question by setting the appearance to 'hidden' or set body::esri:visible to False.
