Additional Information

For this scenario to work, the hosting server (i.e. where Insights Service runs) has to have the root certificate (CA) for the server/domain on which the stand-alone ArcGIS Server runs. Install this certificate log in to your Hosting Server's admin (where insights service component is installed runs e.g https://yourdomain.com/serverwebadapter/admin) Log in using admin credentials. Navigate to HOME-->MACHINES-->YOURDOMAIN.COM-->sslcertificates-->importRootOrIntermediate Choose the Root Certificate for the domain/server where Stand-alone ArcGIS Server is running. This will secure the communication channel between Hosting server and Stand-alone server.

Workaround

1. Use a feature service from the hosting server of Portal for ArcGIS and Insights for ArcGIS.2. Issue does not occur with Sample Server 6 services.
