Update the raster catalog by clicking 'Register With Geodatabase' on the ArcCatalog context menu.

Workaround

Use ArcCatalog 10.x to transfer the rasters.If the raster is copied or imported using SDE commands, use ArcGIS Desktop 10 to register with the geodatabase.

A raster dataset appears as a spatial database engine (SDE) table when copied or imported using SDE commands in ArcCatalog 10.1. If the SDE table is registered with the geodatabase, it appears as a raster catalog.
