A map service layer query fails when requesting for the output statistics if the layer contains a join from a second geodatabase.

Additional Information

Layers or tables with cross workspace joins do not support statistics capability. The layer's REST resources report 'supportStatistics=false' can be seen. It is required that all parties participating in a join must be stored in the same database or workspace. That is because map service uses underlying database functionality which cannot be used across databases.

Workaround

Ensure both tables being used for the Join operation are stored in a common geodatabase.
