Additional Information
People conducting survey's (entering data) are invertedly failing to complete the survey when multiple people are part of one household. This is causing the dashboard to appear to report data incorrectly, thus the dashboard is correct, based on the data.
In the November 2025 Release of the Homelessness Point-in-Time Count (v 4.0), the solution will be enhanced to take advantage of the enforce capability on repeats. This means that when people use the survey (data entry) then they will be forced to complete the form completely. Thus the original dashboard problem noted will not exist.
Workaround
Create an additional view layer from the household questions, then:
- Configure the Households indicator element to source this view, apply the same filter, and set the Statistic field to GlobalID.
- Configure the Individuals indicator element to source this view, apply the same filter as the Households indicator, and set the Statistic field to the sum of the Total Household field.
