This issue is resolved in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.

Workaround

  • Upgrade to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9
  • For ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1, switch the hosted feature service to WGS 1984 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere).
