A default value set for a field using languages other than English is not honored when creating a new feature in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer.

Additional Information
Reset the default value in the Admin API to another value and then set it to the current value. This allows the default value in the database to be corrected. Then, create new features and the correct value is displayed.Workaround
Set the default value from the Manage option.
