A composite locator containing a regular address locator and the World Geocode Service that is published to a server fails with the error message “There was an error trying to process this table. ArcGIS Online subscription required for geocoding the table of addresses” when batch geocoding a table of addresses.

Additional Information

You must use an ags server connection with your user credentials stored in it when building the composite locator in order for batch geocoding to work when published. It works in ArcMap because it uses the credentials that you have signed in with but when the locator is on the server, it doesn't know what those credentials are. NOTE that the credentials used to create the composite are the ones that will be used to deduct credits from.

Workaround

Do not publish the composite locator to a server.
