In ArcGIS Pro, after changing the basemap to the projected coordinate system, the Planar option in the Measure Distance tool is disabled.

This issue is addressed in ArcGIS Pro 3.3.Workaround
The issue is no longer reproducible if the Measure Distance window is opened when changing the map to the projected coordinate system.
