The Synchronize Changes geoprocessing tool fails in ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro and returns the error message, "Error 000655: ‘An error was encountered while Validating Synchronize" for a One-way Parent to Child archiving enabled replica that has been renamed from ArcMap.

Additional Information

The issue was with rename replica. Rename replica has been added to ArcGIS Pro 3.2 to address the issue.

Workaround

From ArcMap, right-click on the database connection > Distributed Geodatabase > Synchronize changes.
