3D point symbology in scene service is not maintained when the URL for the scene layer residing in ArcGIS Enterprise is added to ArcGIS Online.

Workaround

A potential workaround is to symbolize the trees in ArcGIS Pro, run the Layer 3D to Feature Class geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro to create a multipatch feature class in the enterprise database, share the multipatch feature class to ArcGIS Enterprise (referenced data), and add the URL as an item to ArcGIS Online. The trees have the correct symbology, but the workflow involves additional data processing steps.
