Is it possible to add or delete related records when editing a related table in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer?

It is not possible to add or delete related records from a related table of a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer or from the Data tab of the Item Details page.

As a workaround to add or delete records from a related table, use the Edit widget in an app created with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.

1. Create an ArcGIS Web AppBuilder app from a saved web map. Refer to ArcGIS Web AppBuilder: Create your first app for instructions.
2. Add the Edit widget, shown below, to the newly created Web AppBuilder app. Refer to ArcGIS Web AppBuilder: In-panel widgets for instructions.

3. Add or delete records from the related table of the layer in Web AppBuilder. Refer to the 'Use the Edit widget' section in the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder: Edit widget document for instructions.

Alternatively, it is possible to use ArcGIS Collector to add or delete related records from a related table.

1. In the ArcGIS Collector app, log in using ArcGIS Online credentials, and open the web map containing the feature layer with the related records.
2. Add or delete records from the related table of the layer. Refer to the 'Creating new related records in Collector' section in ArcGIS Blog: Related Tables - Exploring New Ways to use Collector for ArcGIS for instructions.
